There are endless possibilities for you to choose when landscaping driveways. Here are some of the things you need to think about with suggestions of which products could be suited to your scenario.
You'll need to think about strength. If you intend to use slabs, then ideally these will want to be 50mm deep.
Or if you plan on using a block paver you could choose from concrete, natural stone or porcelain.
Natural stone will improve over time, see our Fossestone range.
Whereas the aggregate in concrete will start to show after a few years, although they will give instant kerb appeal and could cost you less than natural stone.
Porcelain is a good option for a driveway although it's still pretty unknown / rare to find porcelain products for driveways in the UK. Our Romano Cobbles give a perfect solution for those neat and clean sophisticated cobbles.
Cobbles are also extremely suitable for driveway. Have a look at our Cobblestone Collection.
You might also want to think about edging, to really set off the look of your driveway and give it a really smart finishing touch. This could be done with contrasting coloured edging stone or by using a different material altogether.
Another option for you to consider for your driveway could be resin. This is also a SUDs compliant option, giving natural drainage if the area where you live requires this option.
