🌿 Understanding Aggregate Sizing
Decorative aggregates are graded mechanically using sieves that sort stone by two dimensions. Additionally, the third dimension can vary, meaning some stones may appear slightly larger or smaller than the stated range. This variation sits within British Standard tolerances, which allow up to 8% outside the stated size for aggregates over 10mm, and up to 20% for aggregates between 5–10mm. Therefore, you may receive a small number of stones outside the advertised size range.
