UNDERSTANDING OUR NATURAL PAVING CLASSICSTONE
Calibrated:Â The stone has been machine cut to give a consistent, nominal thickness. It is easier to install calibrated stone than non-calibrated stone.
Flamed:Â The stone undergoes a flaming process to give texture.
Sawn:Â Cut to give a smooth, straight surface/edge.
Honed:Â Lightly polished to give a smooth finish.
Tumbled/Rumbled:Â Tumbled to give a weathered, aged, antique finish.
Hand Cut:Â Stone that has been hand split and left natural, leaving a flagstone that will vary in thickness.
